My Story

I am so excited to share my passion for fashion with all of you! Our custom sized handmade jewelry collection came to life from my own personal story.

My whole life I have never been a size 2, but that never stopped me from shopping and accessorizing all my outfits. I quickly learned that it was difficult to find bracelets that properly fit me and I couldn't achieve that stacked bracelet look that everyone loves because my wrist was slightly larger than average. So I decided to make it my mission to create beautiful trendy handmade jewelry that fits the individual verse the majority.

My husband and I individually handcraft each piece with earth’s elements including gemstones, precious metals, recycled glass, silks and clays. All of our designs are inspired by our surroundings.

I was born and raised in New York and grew up with a love of fashion my whole life. I moved to South Florida to raise my family and enjoy the beautiful beaches and warm weather. We love what we do and hope that you do too!

Welcome to Designs by Maria Rose.

We love designing new handmade jewelry pieces to add to our limited edition collections. We limit the quantities of each jewelry design intentionally so that to provide our clients with an exclusive custom piece of jewelry or special accessory for their personal style.

New York & South Florida Inspiration

Our jewelry design inspiration comes from combining and capturing the sheek New York City Park Avenue fashion icons to the beach house coastal lifestyle of the affluent women of the Palm Beaches. New York is such an important influencer in keeping our designs high fashion and trending with the cultural attributes in city lifestyle. Inspiration continues to come from the beaches, golf courses and lush tropical landscapes of South Florida to the northeast mountaintops and city scapes of New York.

The water views and lush tropical landscapes of Maria Roses' Boca Raton homestead inspire her jewelry creations. Images drawn from her surroundings become artistic pictographs resulting in one of a kind designs. Born and raised as a young adult in New York, Maria Rose doesn't forget where it all started. Her Jetsetter lifestyle as a millennial "Snow Bird" often finds her way into her designs. "High-end New York City couture fashion meets the Salt Life of the Palm Beaches." She designs all her pieces with hand selected beads and gemstones intermingling to reflect a coastal lifestyle. Each of her jewelry designs are imbued with heart and a handcrafted aesthetic all her own.

Custom Sizes to Find Your Perfect Fit

We recognize that NOT everyone is “one size fits all” and we want to make sure we can accommodate all our customers. Almost all our handmade beaded bracelets are now available in sizes from 6 inches to 8 inches so that you can find the fit that works for you.

Perfect Fit Instructions: Use a piece of string or strip of paper to wrap around your wrist and then measure the length with a regular ruler. Simply add between a half inch to 1 inch to your wrist measurement when selecting a bracelet size. We recommend a half inch larger than your wrist size measurement for a comfortable fit.
